The Academic Information System (SIAKAD) is an essential component in supporting academic services in higher education institutions. The success of its implementation influences the effectiveness of academic processes and the quality of services provided to students. This study aims to evaluate the success of the Academic Information System at Universitas Bangka Belitung (UBB) using the DeLone and McLean Information Systems Success Model based on students’ perceptions. A quantitative approach with a survey method was employed involving 150 active students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire consisting of 24 items measuring six variables: System Quality, Information Quality, Service Quality, Use, User Satisfaction, and Net Benefits. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results indicate that all constructs demonstrate satisfactory validity and reliability. System Quality, Information Quality, and Service Quality have positive and significant effects on both Use and User Satisfaction. Furthermore, Use and User Satisfaction significantly contribute to the Net Benefits perceived by students. These findings confirm that the DeLone and McLean Model is effective for evaluating the success of SIAKAD and provides valuable insights for university management to continuously improve the quality of academic systems and services.
