Peer Review Process
FAHMA: Jurnal Informatika Komputer, Bisnis dan Manajemen adopts a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, integrity, and objectivity of published articles. In this process, the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept anonymous throughout the evaluation.
All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening to assess their alignment with the journal’s scope, originality, and compliance with the author guidelines. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be rejected at the desk review stage or returned to the authors for preliminary revision.
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to a minimum of two independent reviewers with relevant expertise. The reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on several criteria, including scientific contribution, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, and relevance to the field. The review process typically takes approximately 6–8 weeks.
Based on the reviewers’ reports, the editor makes one of the following decisions:
- Accept without revision
- Accept with minor revisions
- Revise and resubmit (major revisions required)
- Reject
Authors are required to revise their manuscripts in accordance with the reviewers’ comments within the specified timeframe. Revised manuscripts may be subject to further evaluation to ensure that all concerns have been adequately addressed.
The final decision on manuscript acceptance is made by the editor, taking into account the reviewers’ recommendations and the overall quality of the manuscript.
On average, the complete process from submission to publication takes approximately 10–12 weeks, depending on the number of review rounds and the extent of revisions required.
